MISSOULA, Mont. — Brandon Whitney scored 24 points as Montana beat Weber State 77-62 on Monday night.

Whitney also added five assists for the Grizzlies (13-6, 4-2 Big Sky Conference). Aanen Moody added 18 points while shooting 7 for 11, including 2 for 6 from beyond the arc, and he also had five rebounds.

Dischon Thomas had 16 points and shot 6 for 10, including 3 for 6 from beyond the arc.

Dillon Jones led the way for the Wildcats (12-8, 3-4) with 30 points, seven rebounds and three steals.

Alex Tew added 16 points and six rebounds for Weber State. Dyson Koehler also had 11 points.
