WASHINGTON — Victor Hedman scored the shootout winner and the Tampa Bay Lightning beat the Washington Capitals 2-1 on Saturday night. Tampa Bay has now won three straight games, while Washington saw its three-game winning streak end. The Lightning got off to a quick start as Luke Glendening deflected Hedman's point shot past Charlie Lindgren to make it 1-0 early in the first. To start the second, Anthony Mantha responded in similar fashion, redirecting Nick Jensen's point shot past Andrei Vasilevskiy to force overtime. Andrei Vasilevsiky stopped 32 of 33 shots in the win, and Charlie Lindgren had 19 saves.
