Liza Karlen of Marquette is The Associated Press national player of the week in women's college basketball. She led the Golden Eagles to two wins last week, averaging 24.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.5 blocks while shooting 50% from the field. The runner-up was Rachael Rose of Wofford.
