LEHI — A Lehi woman in her 30s has been arrested and accused of stabbing her roommate Friday night.

Police were called to the residence in the northeast area of Lehi about 7:20 p.m. and found a man with "multiple serious stab wounds," said Lehi police spokeswoman Jeanteil Livingston. Officers began life-saving efforts and he was transported to a hospital.

The man, who is in his 60s, was expected to recover, but Livingston did not have any information Saturday about his condition.

The woman was found with "a large amount of blood on herself and her clothing," she said. The woman was taken to the Lehi Police Department for questioning after a medical evaluation, then was booked into the Utah County Jail for investigation of aggravated assault. Her name was not released Saturday.

Livingston said police did not know what prompted the stabbing.
