NEW ORLEANS — Brandon Ingram scored 26 points, Zion Williamson added 24 and the New Orleans Pelicans remained unbeaten on this young NBA season with a 96-87 victory over the New York Knicks. Ingram was hitting an array of mid-range pullups, turnaround and fades. Williamson was a force going to the hoop to give him at least 23 points in each of New Orleans' first two games. RJ Barrett scored 18 points and Mitchell Robinson grabbed 15 rebounds for the Knicks. New York was as close as six points late in the third quarter but appeared to run out of steam in the fourth after winning in Atlanta one night earlier.
