IN THE BLANK SPACE — Travis Kelce has become the biggest NFL player in America, not only as arguably the best tight end in the National Football League but for his rumored burgeoning romance with recording artist Taylor Swift.

But the two-time Super Bowl champion and four-time first-team All-Pro a BYU fan? That was the rumor after he recorded his latest podcast, "New Heights," with his brother and Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce.

Kelce wore a royal-blue BYU jersey during the most recent podcast episode, which is available now on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. The 6-foot-5, 250-pound pass catcher even had what seemed to be a custom-made jersey with his traditional No. 87 and "Kelce" printed on the back.

Don't worry, Cincinnati fans; it was just part of a friendly "gentleman's bet" involving Kelce and head coach Andy Reid — aka Kelce's personal cupid — as well as practice squad tight end Matt Bushman and assistant running backs coach Porter Ellett, who are all BYU graduates.

"My bet was if I lost, I had to wear a BYU jersey on the show, and of course, if they lost, they had to drink a beer witih me," Kelce joked. "I'm kidding, they didn't agree to that. But I did bet them, you've got to come to a Vegas pool party with me at least."

Of course, the BYU contingent won't be appearing poolside in Southern Nevada with Kelce after the Cougars' 35-27 win last Friday night, the first conference win as a member of the Big 12 in BYU history.

The Cougars wasted little time on the marketing opportunity, cutting the clip and posting it all over social media while also including a clip of the show to lead off this week's edition of "The Cut" recapping the win from BYU's creative team.

But maybe it's time for a double-or-nothing bet: loser has to buy tickets to Taylor Swift's next concert?

We hear Kelce has an inside source for that transaction.
