GUIDONIA MONTECELIO, Italy — Sepp Straka has an American mother, went to an American university, lives in the United States and has a southern drawl to his undeniably American accent. Yet Straka will be representing Europe at the Ryder Cup. Straka is a 30-year-old who was born in Austria and moved to the U.S. when he was 14. He says he always figured he'd play for Europe if he made a Ryder Cup team. And he has his family's blessing. Straka says "I've always felt really close to my Austrian heritage." HIs first professional tour event was in Austria on the European tour.
