WASHINGTON — Ronald Acuna Jr. led off the game with his 40th home run, becoming the fifth player in Major League Baseball history to join the 40-40 club, as the Atlanta Braves beat the Washington Nationals 9-6. Starter Charlie Morton lasted one inning and left with right index finger discomfort. He will have an MRI on Saturday. Austin Riley went 2-for-3, homered and added four RBIs and Marcel Ozuna hit a three-run shot as the Braves won their 99th game. Nats CJ Abrams went 2-for-4 with a double and 3 RBIs. Patrick Corbin allowed five runs in 4 1/3 innings as the Nationals lost for the eighth time in 11 games.
