AMERICAN FORK — Two people were taken to the hospital following a crash on Interstate 15 in American Fork Monday night.
The crash occurred around 11 p.m. near the 500 East exit on southbound I-15, according to the Utah Department of Transportation. Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Cameron Roden said troopers were told a vehicle was traveling recklessly, at high speeds, prior to colliding with one of the barriers.
The driver, a man, was taken to the hospital in critical condition, and a female passenger was hospitalized in serious condition.
Troopers haven't released the names of either individuals.
