Riverton is one of the fastest-growing submarkets in the U.S. and with Mountain View Village community residents have a best-in-class retail center that provides more than just shopping–it's an experience to enjoy from morning to evening.
"Even people in Salt Lake City who now come out to the Riverton area are amazed at the amount of residential growth that's happened, the quality of the growth, the fact that so much has changed," Fred Bruning, chairman and founder of CenterCal Properties said.
Bruning and co-founder Jean Paul Wardy had a vision for serving the community before it was there.
Just a year ago Mountain View Village opened the second phase with ribbon cuttings, the latest Cinemark and XD Theatre, free and fun family events and fireworks. Today the show fountain entertains shoppers daily, along with the G Glass display, integrating fun animation that goes with it.

There are multiple Utah and Salt Lake area firsts to enjoy at the Village including the part Miami, part Las Vegas style ambiance, service, and entertainment at Los Botellas. A concept developed by Wags Capital led by local businessman Aaron Wagner has come to life with high-end Mexican-inspired food and entertainment including live music, fire dancers, aerial artists and more.
The delicious options continue at Stack 571 Burger & Whiskey Bar, a full-service restaurant and bar featuring flavorful dishes made from fresh, regional ingredients.

Those coming soon to the Village include Panera Bread, a first-to-market outside South Lake City International Airport, Shake Shack and STK Steakhouse sister brand concept Kona Grill.

Of course, there are many places to shop for you or the whole family from the only Athropologie and Evereve south of Salt Lake City, favorites like Athleta, Sephora and Nike by Riverton that offer one-of-a-kind experiences.
Work out at the new Rumble Boxing, nourish yourself at Toastique and then stop by Real Housewives of Salt Lake Heather Gay's Beauty Lab + Laser for all the best skin care.
The events and experiences are free in many cases, with samples from Hello Sugar, to Lululemon's run club to work them off. They always have family events including once a month through August from dinosaurs to a teddy bear clinic.

People working nearby can enjoy great amenities including plenty of outdoor seating for lunches, with new offices being built to suit and be right there at the center of it all.
"Reimagining of centers within the open-air center concept is a must, tailoring each element to the community it serves. Open spaces to allow the community to gather, to host events that are an experience. People like choices and in order to provide a great mix, you have to have a nice mix of choices. They want their daily needs met, the coffee shop, grocery store, a workout, maybe getting their nails done or the spa too. Finds for the home, office and even the office to work at," said Chris Byers, senior vice president of Leasing at CenterCal Properties. Chris grew up in the area and advocates for businesses to come to Utah to thrive.
