OVER THE FENCE — We've all played a light-hearted game of softball at a family reunion, right? Well, this clip is not from one of those games.
Jordan Pomeroy of the International Softball Congress' Bear Creek Express put his body on the line to secure an out for his Ontario-based club in the ISC Canada East Qualifiers last weekend.
Why is everyone involved acting like this was normal

With a 3-0 deficit already mounting, Pomeroy tracked down a bomb that seemed destined for the right-field lawn. As his outfield mate backed off, Pomeroy went full-send, rising up to catch the ball and holding onto it as his waist slammed against the fence and he flipped onto the other side.
He got the out, and that was all that mattered. He got up, dusted himself off, stepped right back over the fence and tossed the ball back into play.
So next time you're faced with a daunting ball in your rec league or pick-up game, just think, "What would Jordan Pomeroy do?"
