ST. GEORGE — A man accused of sexually assaulting a woman in Washington has been charged with multiple felonies following his arrest over the weekend.

Hunter Dean Calvert Bushar, 19, was formally charged Monday with four first-degree felonies that include two counts each of rape and object rape. He also faces one third-degree felony count of aggravated assault and one count of propelling a bodily substance contacting the face, a misdemeanor.

Following his arrest on Saturday, Bushar remains in jail in Washington County without bail.

The charges stem from an investigation that began when officers responded to St. George Regional Hospital early Saturday morning to follow up on a report alleging that a woman had been the victim of a sexual assault in Washington on Friday night.
