PITTSBURGH — Ke'Bryan Hayes hit a go-ahead three-run home run in the seventh inning and the Pittsburgh Pirates rallied past the St. Louis Cardinals 7-5. Hayes finished off a three-hit night by sending the first pitch he saw from Giovanny Gallegos into the left-field bleachers to give the Pirates the lead. Josh Palacios followed two pitches later with his first career home run as Pittsburgh won its third straight. Carlos Santana had three hits for the Pirates, including a two-run double during a six-run seventh. Nolan Arenado and Paul Goldschmidt had three hits each for St. Louis.
