WEST JORDAN — Police arrested a woman Wednesday evening after they say she attacked her friend with a knife during an argument and then refused to come out of a home.
Police earlier Wednesday converged on a neighborhood in West Jordan, where they said one person was barricaded inside a condo unit.
West Jordan police say two women, described as friends, were involved in a disagreement at the home near 1287 W. Milky Hollow Lane. Police said the woman who was arrested used a knife during the argument.
The woman who said she was attacked was, for a time, stuck inside the home with the other woman. But police told KSL-TV she was able to get out of the house and was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. Police said she would likely be released from the hospital Wednesday night.
Officers planned to search the condo where the alleged attack happened after obtaining a search warrant.
