ST. GEORGE — An 18-year-old is in jail facing a felony burglary charge after police say he attempted to break into the same home in Washington that he had broken into months before.

But this time, he was identified by a still photo captured by the security camera that was installed within days of the burglary in January

On Tuesday morning, officers were dispatched to an attempted burglary reported at a residence near 200 West, just north of Telegraph Street in Washington, involving two suspects who had already fled the area.

According to the probable cause statement filed in support of the arrest, the complainant told officers a suspect approached the home and attempted to break in but quickly ran off before entering the home. The incident was captured on the home's security footage and turned over to police.
