Will the National Guard eventually have to move? Homes are getting closer to Camp Williams' training lands, and test artillery sparked last night's fire that threatened homes.

Homes lie at the base of Herriman's south mountain. They mayor expects developments to creep closer and closer, up to Camp Williams artillery and atraining lands.

(BITE) Mayor Lynn Crane isn't sure if or when that may happen. For now, he says several fires have been sparked by artillery, but they only burned open fields before. Now that homes are getting closer, he says precautions have got to be put in place to keep homes from being threatened again.
