IN THE COLD — So, apparently the NFL is a bit scared of a little snow.
On Thursday, the league announced the Buffalo Bills' home game against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday will be moved to Detroit's Ford Field due to what could be a historic winter storm. The Western New York area is expected to get multiple feet of snow over the next few days, and there's also the potential of thunder, strong wind gusts and other inclement conditions.
The NFL said the move had nothing to do with the Bills' stadium being an outdoor facility, and said the priority is that resources not be diverted from the community.
OK, fine, the reasoning is at least sound. And, at least, we got this fun joke from the Lions.

That said, we will sadly miss out on a potential snow game and all the hilarious hijinks that they tend to create. Take this fun sight from the Central Michigan-Western Michigan game on Wednesday, which was played in a blizzard (MACtion will brave any weather, anywhere).

Hey, some fans are obviously going to stay home due to a blizzard (understandably), so might as well make some extra ones.
In all seriousness, after watching some of the scenes from Michigan on Wednesday, it probably isn't too big of a surprise the NFL is heading to a dome to escape the snow. They are enough to make you feel frigid even while sitting in the comfort of your home.

Oh, and big shoutout to the announcer on the touchdown run — the "dashing through the snow" line was perfect.
