SPANISH FORK CANYON — One person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision on U.S. 6 in Spanish Fork Canyon on Thursday.
Troopers said the crash occurred on the eastbound lanes of the highway around 14 miles from the mouth of the canyon. The road was closed in both directions and was estimated to remain closed for about 30 to 60 minutes, according to a tweet posted by the Utah Highway Patrol at 1:48 p.m.
Investigators say one person is in serious condition, and a medical helicopter responded to the scene.
