UNDER THE NEIGHBORHOOD — Tis the season for scary movies. So in honor of Halloween, let's go back a few years to the time a guy heard ominous sounds coming from the drainage pipe in his front yard.

Like the main character in any decent horror movie, the man decides to investigate the sounds on his own. Because it would be silly to call authorities or ask a friend to accompany him, right?

Those glowing little gator eyes are really something, aren't they? It's downright horrifying to think that the creature had just been waiting there all day for some poor soul to approach the drain so it could terrorize them.

Did the gator actually attack the man? We may never know. It's possible that after shooting this brief video, the man casually walked back into his house and called animal control.

But it's also possible the gator lunged out of the drain and swallowed the man in one bite. The man's phone might have then been found later on and we're just now seeing the footage of what caused his demise. Sort of like a "Blair Gator Project."

Yeah, I think I'm going with the "Blair Gator Project" version of the story.
