BARCELONA, Spain — Felix Auger-Aliassime has led Canada to a 2-1 victory over Spain in the Davis Cup after beating top-ranked Carlos Alcaraz and helping in the decisive doubles. Auger-Aliassime ruined the homecoming of Alcaraz after fighting back to win 6-7 (3), 6-4, 6-2 and then joined Vasek Pospisil to win in doubles. Roberto Bautista put Spain ahead 1-0 after beating Pospisil in the first match. Spaniards packed the pavilion in Valencia eager to see Alcaraz play his first match since winning the U.S. Open and becoming the youngest man to rise to the top of the ATP rankings.
