SALT LAKE CITY — The college football season is close, and with it comes the return of the KSL.com College Football Pick'em for the 2022 season.
Pick'em is back for its seventh year!
For those new to Pick'em, it's simple: guess the score for five college football games that are selected weekly by the KSL.com Sports staff. Each week, the three local teams — BYU, Utah and Utah State — and other national matchups of merit will be included in the games you'll be asked to predict.
The participant who picks the winning team and is closest to the final game score will earn the maximum number of points (50) allowed, and everyone else will be graded on how close they are to the final score. The maximum game score will increase to 100 points when two local teams play against each other (Sept. 29 - Utah State at BYU) or for the bowl games at the end of the season.
During bowl season, there will be 15 games to predict, with the final matchup featuring the National Championship game on Jan. 9, 2023, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

As a note: Even though Utah State opens up its season in what is considered Week 0, no picks will be made for games that week. The five games selected for Week 1 are as follows — all will be played on Sept. 3.
