DUCHESNE — A resident in Duchesne County found the body of a woman who had been listed as missing since 2010.

Amy Louise Westreicher, 32, was living in the Roosevelt area for a short time when she was seen for the last time at a home in the area, the Duchesne County Sheriff's Office said.

After the remains were recently found by a landowner in the county; they were then sent to the Utah Office of the Medical Examiner and positively identified as Westreicher. Police are not giving the exact location for where the woman was found but said it was near Roosevelt.

Police say they are still investigating her disappearance. Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's office at 435-738-2015 or send an email to sheriff@duchesne.utah.gov.
