(KSL News) A Salt Lake man came home for lunch and found his house on fire. It happened near 800 North and 2000 West.
The man tried to fight the blaze with a fire extinguisher, but there was too much smoke.
Flames burned the back half the home's second floor. Firefighters estimate the damage from smoke and water at $29,000.
Investigators say the cause of the fire has not yet been determined, but it appears to be accidental.
