MOAB — A crash south of Moab left one person dead and three others injured Saturday.
The fatal crash happened about 7:30 a.m. when a Dodge Ram pickup truck traveling south on state Route 191 left its lane, crossing the centerline and colliding with a Ford F-350 that was traveling north, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.
The driver of the Ram pickup, a woman, was killed in the crash, UHP said. Her name has not yet been released.
A male passenger and a child in the Ram pickup plus the driver of the Ford pickup, a man, were transported to a hospital with injuries not considered to be life-threatening, the UHP said.
The Ford pickup was also pulling a gooseneck horse trailer. There were no reports of any animals being involved in the crash.
The Utah Highway Patrol said it is investigating drowsiness as a potential contributor to the crash.
