GENEVA — Portugal left Cristiano Ronaldo at home and lost 1-0 at Switzerland in the Nations League. Portugal also lost its unbeaten record in 2022 and the lead of its group in League A to Spain on Sunday. The Swiss scored after just 57 seconds from Haris Seferovic's header and had to withstand late pressure from Portugal. Portugal had been unbeaten and Switzerland winless in five games each in 2022. Spain rose one point above Portugal in the group by beating the Czech Republic 2-0. Erling Haaland scored twice for Norway in a 3-2 win over Sweden in a second-tier group game.
