THE BACKYARD—It appears that, just like humans, bobcat parents sometimes get fed up with their rowdy kids and send them out into the backyard to burn off some energy.
For example, check out this adorable video of three cubs taking over a suburban backyard:
Bobcat cubs also seem to do nearly all the same things that human kids do. These three start by running around in the yard aimlessly, then mess with some stuff that doesn't belong to them, head over to the trampoline for a bit, and end up wrestling on the lawn.
I imagine that after they finished hanging out in the yard, these cubs went to grab a bite to eat. Bobcats have a diverse diet that includes lizards, snakes, fish, mice, squirrels, rabbits, birds, and even the occasional bat. But judging by the antics of these three rascals, they probably skipped the usual food and went over to the local mall, where they shook the vending machines until a couple bags of Flamin' Hot Cheetos fell down.
After greedily wolfing down the Cheetos, the cubs likely ambled over to the mall fountain and gathered all the coins they could find in the water, which they used to buy a lava lamp at Spencer Gifts.
Of course, these are all theories. Until we get security camera footage that conclusively shows the cubs at the mall, we'll never know exactly what happened after they left this backyard.
