PROVO — The remains of a North Salt Lake man missing since January have been found on Y Mountain, police said.
On April 6, the Provo Police Department drone team investigated a tip that Andrew Gulledge, 41, was hiking on the Y Trail. He had last been seen in downton Provo before he was reported missing on Jan. 1, police announced on social media Wednesday.
"With improved weather conditions, we were able to locate human remains," police said. The medical examiner's office then identified the remains as Gulledge.
"We send our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones," police said. The cause of Gulledge's death has not yet been released.
