GRANTSVILLE — A 31-year-old truck driver died in a crash near Dugway Proving Ground on Thursday.

About 8:20 a.m., the man was driving what the Utah Highway Patrol described as a "heavy truck" on state Route 196, which leads to Dugway. The truck went off the right side of the road, overcorrected and then went off the road to the left and rolled, UHP states.

The name of the driver was not immediately released. What caused the truck to go off the road was still under investigation Thursday.
