SALT LAKE CITY — A juvenile pedestrian was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle on I-215 near 4500 South Saturday evening, according to Utah Highway Patrol.

Troopers were dispatched to the crash about 9 p.m. and the boy was transported to the hospital with critical injuries, according to a news release.

The age or identity of the boy was not immediately available.
