THE COURSE — Famous golfer Tiger Woods has a son named Charlie, and it will come as no surprise to anyone that Charlie knows how to golf.
What may be a surprise is that Charlie is a tiny, almost exact replica of Tiger. This doesn't mean that Charlie is necessarily the child phenom that his dad was. What it does mean is that when you watch the duo play golf side by side, you don't need a DNA test to prove they're father and son.
We can observe this thanks to a supercut video of Tiger and Charlie exhibiting the exact same mannerisms as they play golf. From taking off a glove to sliding a club through the hand after teeing off, these fellas do the exact same thing with the exact same timing on the course.
The supercut video went viral last year, but the PGA Tour recently posted a fresh take — Tiger reacting to the viral video.
You may want to watch the clip twice — once to watch how uncanny the shared mannerisms are, and once to watch Tiger's face as he views the viral video. (Or watch it three or more times. No one is going to stop you.)
The slow smile that creeps across Tiger's face as he watches his mini me is priceless. Tiger seems tickled by the comparison, but he's also very clear that Charlie is Charlie and not Tiger 2.0.
"Charlie is his own person. … Whatever he does in a game of golf, he does. Yes, he's my son. But then again, he's his own person," Tiger says.
It's a healthy sentiment, but it's clear from the video that Charlie has more than a little Tiger coursing through his veins.
