SALT LAKE CITY — BYU won the bye week, and so did its fans.
The Cougars may not have had an opponent over the weekend, but three of its fans swept the Week 11 KSL.com College Football Pick'em results.
Chris Stern and Blair Scoresby tied for first place this week with 188 total points, but Stern won the tiebreaker with his 47 points scored in the Wake Forest-NC State game. Just behind them in third place was Benjamin Fuller with his 187 total points. Congrats to this week's winners!
The biggest upset of the weekend was Baylor upending Oklahoma's undefeated season with a 27-14 win at home. Only 24% of all picks had faith in the Bears to pull off the upset. As a result, the average points earned for the game was a meager 7 points, though at least one person picked the score perfectly.
Locally, 99% of all picks had Utah beating Arizona on the road, though most expected a bigger margin of victory. Still, the average points earned in the game was 29, with the best pick just one point off of the final score. For Utah State, 88% of all picks had the Aggies beating San Jose State, with an average of 25 points earned that game.
For the week, Utah State fans collected the highest average score at 23.3 points, followed by BYU's 23.1 and Utah's 22.7. For the season, BYU fans remain in the lead with an average score of 21.4. Utah fans narrowly edged out Utah State fans with a 20.7 score for the Utes and a 20.6 score for the Aggies.
Each week's first-, second- and third-place winners will get a $100, $70 and $30 Visa gift card, respectively, courtesy of Goldenwest Credit Union. The overall winners of Pick'em will receive a $500 gift card for first place, a $250 gift card for second place and a $100 gift card for third place.
