SALT LAKE CITY — Utah fans are feeling good about a two-game lead in the Pac-12 South division after a win at home over UCLA Saturday.

But two Utah fans are feeling extra good after they finished at the top of Week 9's KSL.com College Football Pick'em standings.

Utah fans Mikelle Pyne and Dan Platt both finished with 196 points this week to top the leaderboard and to claim the top two prizes this week. Pyne edged out Platt in the tiebreaker for first place by earning 42 points in the Utah-UCLA game. Behind the two Utes fans in third place was BYU fan Warren Durrant, who finished the week with a score of 192.

Although the Cougars came away with a 66-49 win over their former head coach, points earned in the matchup were incredibly low despite 64% of all picks tabbing BYU as the winner. Because the game's final score was so high, the average points earned were only 8; however, the best pick was BYU beating Virginia 62-58, so hats off to that crazy pick.

Utah State had the "easiest" pick of the weekend, with 98% of all picks correctly selecting the Aggies to beat Hawaii — and earn bowl eligibility. But the upset of the weekend goes to Michigan State, who defeated rival Michigan 37-33 in an entertaining game. Only 36% of all picks had the Spartans upsetting the Wolverines, and at least one picker guessed the score perfectly.

Houston, which defeated a ranked SMU team 44-37, was the next closest upset of the weekend, with only 38% of all picks going with the Cougars over the Mustangs.

Utah fans lead the week with an average score of 16.8 points, followed by BYU's 15.4 points and Utah State's 15.1 points. BYU fans maintain the season-long lead with an average score of 21.2, but are being chased closely by Utah at 20.3 points and Utah State at 20.2 points.

Each week's first-, second- and third-place winners will get a $100, $70 and $30 Visa gift card, respectively, courtesy of Goldenwest Credit Union. The overall winners of Pick'em will receive a $500 gift card for first place, a $250 gift card for second place and a $100 gift card for third place.
