SALT LAKE CITY — It's another week where BYU fans are cleaning up the top prizes in KSL.com College Football Pick'em.
The Cougars are 4-0 for the second straight season and have a good opportunity to extend that winning streak in the program's first true road competition of the season against in-state rival Utah State. The Aggies lost their first game of the season Saturday to Boise State and will be looking to right the ship against a heated rival.
Utah turned things around in Week 4 and secured their second win of the season against conference foe Washington State. The Utes had seven fumbles in the game but managed to come away with a victory in the end.
With BYU and Utah both winning over the weekend, it allowed for three fans that follow the two programs to earn the top prizes for their picks. BYU fans Johnny Martinez (198 points) and Joshua Hindes (196 points) claimed the top two prizes, with Utah fan Mike Rowlett coming in third place with 194 points. Rowlett was tied for third place with another user, but scored 44 points on the Utah game, which broke the tie.
The biggest upset of the week was Arkansas unseating higher-ranked Texas A&M in a 20-10 win. Only 36% of all picks had the Razorbacks leaving Texas with a win. The closest pick in that game was nearly spot on with a 21-10 score.
