ON THE COURT — When Gael Monfils and Diego Schwartzman took to the tennis court in Vienna last month, the result was one of the most cheerful rallies of all time.

The Round of 16 match was in full swing when Monfils lost control of his racket while he attempted a lunging return. The ball still managed to cross the net, but Monfils was left empty-handed when Schwartzman sent another shot his way.

What did Monfil do? You'll have to see for yourself.

The best part of this video is the good vibes all around. Both players embrace. The crowd applauds. Everyone is smiling. It's as though they've found a way to push the competitive element while still remaining friendly.

"Gael Monfils is one of the most entertaining players on the tennis court," proclaims First Sportz. "The level of athleticism and energy he brings on the court is a treat to the eye. The French show maker time and again pulls out some of the best trick shots and hence, is loved worldwide."

Regardless of which player you might have been cheering for, matches like this showcase the best of the tennis world.
