OGDEN — A 40-year-old man died and a 70-year-old woman was injured after their vehicles struck head-on on Washington Boulevard on Friday, Ogden police said in a statement.

A 2001 Ford-150 was southbound on 1100 N. Washington Blvd. at about 6:25 p.m. and crossed over the center lane into northbound traffic, according to the statement. The vehicle was struck head-on by a 2015 Ford F-350.

The 40-year-old driver of the F-150 was declared dead by medical personnel upon arrival, the statement said. The 70-year-old driver of the the F-350 was transported to a hospital with injuries not considered to be life-threatening.

The identities of those involved were not released.
