SALT LAKE CITY — A man suffered "severe bodily injuries" after he was intentionally hit by a car in Salt Lake City Friday night, police said.
Witnesses said the 34-year-old man was arguing with another man around 11 p.m. near 1300 South and West Temple, according to Salt Lake City Police Lt. Andrew Cluff.
After the argument, the other man drove away in a white, four-door sedan before turning around, intentionally hitting the 34-year-old, and again driving off.
The 34-year-old was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
Police are still working to identify the man in the car that hit the 34-year-old.
The 34-year-old's identity was not released by police.
