SALT LAKE CITY — Costco announced that it will be ending its special senior hours on July 26.
The wholesaler started offering special weekday morning shopping hours for members age 60 and older, as well as members with disabilities or who are otherwise immunocompromised in March 2020, at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Until July 26, Costco warehouses in the U.S. and Puerto Rico are open for special operating hours from 9 to 10 a.m., Monday through Friday," Costco reported on its website, listing a few locations that have different hours.
This is the latest change the warehouse retailer has made after bringing back free samples and food court seating at the end of May, and raising their minimum wage to $16, outpacing its competitors.
