THE BALLPARK — There's nothing cheap about attending a Major League Baseball game. In fact, the steadily rising cost of tickets, parking, and concessions can sometimes make it feel as though your hard-earned money is going up in smoke. But it's not every day that you see a fan's wallet literally burst into flames at the ballpark.
Wait, what?!?!?!? #Royalspic.twitter.com/532nlgJNXS

According to KMBC News in Missouri, the fiery wallet was no accident. Instead, it was the work of a magician named Todd Lamanske. This explanation makes sense, as Lamanske's self-satisfied smirk near the end of the clip shows that he obviously knows something we don't.
A quick search of the internet reveals that this was the work of a "fire wallet." There's actually a flint wheel inside the wallet. Once it's flicked by the user, a small cloth soaked in flammable liquid catches fire. When the wallet is flipped closed, the flame goes out.
No word yet on whether Lamanske is a member of the Alliance of Magicians.
