TAYLORSVILLE — Power was restored Thursday morning after Rocky Mountain Power reported an outage affecting approximately 5,500 customers in Taylorsville and West Valley City on Wednesday night.
A Unified Police official said that a vehicle struck a telephone pole and got wrapped up in electrical wires in a two-car crash that resulted in minor injuries.
Rocky Mountain Power officials said that crews were working to restore power to all those affected. Power was estimated to be restored by 3 a.m.
