GRANTSVILLE — Rocky Mountain Power officials say that 4,717 customers in Grantsville have power again Sunday evening.
As of 11 p.m. power has been restored to all customers in the area. The outage was announced at around 9 p.m. Officials had estimated that the power would be restored at 2 a.m. Monday.
The outage was caused by a circuit breaker failure in the subset station that caused a "pretty big arc," according to spokesperson David Eskelsen. The failure may have been caused by an animal, but officials are still investigating the cause.
