Have You Seen This? If we used cats as choreographers

THE DANCE FLOOR — Artists can pull inspiration from virtually anywhere.

Sure it depends on the artist and the medium, but beyond the seemingly standard inspiration of nature and the human body, there are artists that get inspiration from many places. The garbage, political movements, other mediums, and more.

In the age of the internet, artists may actually explore way more avenues of inspiration because everyone on the internet has an opinion. All they have to do is post a new something or other on their Instagram, TikTok, etc., and see what gets the most likes and comments. Then it's just a matter of continuing to explore the most popular avenue. (I know, not every artist would find this palatable. Please don't yell at me in the comments.)

The dancer in this video is exploring the avenue of an angry cat as her inspiration. The concept is simple. Find a video of an angry cat, bounding and popping around as they do, and turn it into a dance.

Yes, the cat becomes a choreographer.

TikTok user smacmccreanor is the dancer who put her art in the hands of a cat, and the results are delightful.

In fact, it seems that her routine was so popular, that she has started posting more videos with inspiration from birds, a rolling coin, and the way a hydraulic press crushes things into oblivion.
