2 Utah high schools shifting to online learning amid COVID-19 cases

HERRIMAN — Copper Hills High School and Herriman High School will be transitioning to online learning due to reaching 1% of the in-person population testing positive for COVID-19 for the second weekday in a row, Jordan School District announced Thursday.

According to the district dashboard, Herriman High School currently has 31 positive COVID-19 cases and Copper Hills High School has 36 positive COVID-19 cases.

Both Herriman and Copper Hills students will begin virtual learning on Friday and will return to in-person learning on Feb. 1.

The district said all COVID-19 testing will continue as previously scheduled.
