SALT LAKE CITY — A body was found in a field in Salt Lake City early Tuesday.

The death is being called "suspicious," according to Salt Lake police detective Michael Ruff.

The body of an adult was found just before 2 a.m. in a field near 1070 S. Redwood, Ruff said. Investigators were still trying to identify the person. A cause of death has also not been determined.

The body was found by some people who were passing by the area, according to police.
