SALT LAKE CITY — A motorcyclist suffered critical injuries after a crash in Davis County on Friday morning.
The crash took place just before 7 a.m. on southbound I-15 at the Layton Parkway interchange, according to Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Nick Street.
The driver of the motorcycle was taken to a hospital in critical but stable condition, Street said. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, and it is not clear what caused the crash, he added.
Two lanes of the freeway were closed while authorities investigated the crash, Street said. The crash scene has since been cleared.
