Add some energy to your weekend nights with Downtown SLC Open Streets. Running every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 6 - 10 p.m. through Oct. 10, Open Streets invites you to enjoy everything you love about downtown in a safe and socially distant manner.
During Open Streets, the spacious Main Street corridor is animated with musicians and art performances from Exchange Place to City Creek Center. Restaurants are expanding their outdoor patios and sections of Main Street are closed to automobile traffic and open to pedestrians for physically distanced fun.
Open Streets is not a street festival or a block party, but rather an expansion of Main Street pedestrian options to allow residents and visitors the space to enjoy downtown.
Whether you dig into the plethora of dining options, browse at 100-plus stores or listen to live local music and performances, Downtown SLC Open Streets has a taste of fun for everyone.
