LAKE POWELL — A 6-month-old St. George baby has set the world record for youngest infant to water-ski, his family says.

His parents shared video and photos of the feat to their baby-focused Instagram at richcaseyhumpherys with the adorable caption, "I went water skiing for my 6 month birthday. Apparently that’s a big deal … #worldrecord."

If the video is any indication, this baby has better balance than most adults, myself included. He's standing upright, enjoying the breeze through his hair, and chatting with Dad.

Rich's mother Mindi clarified that he's 6 months and 4 days old, an age that would topple the previous record-holder Auburn Absher by six days.

It's clear that Rich enjoys a myriad of outdoor adventures, from his time kayaking to camping, and his intrepid feat as a waterskier won't be his last great exploit.
