MAGNA — A Magna woman died overnight Sunday after being hit by a vehicle, police said.

The crash occurred about 2 a.m. in the area of 2760 S. 8400 West as the woman was crossing the road in the middle of a block outside of a crosswalk, said Unified Police Sgt. Melody Cutler.

The woman was identified as Wendy Molina, 55.

The driver, who Cutler said was cooperating with police, reported not seeing Molina before the crash.

Impairment or speed are not suspected factors, Cutler said.
