MURRAY — Police have released new photos of a man they say robbed a Murray bank last week.

Murray police detectives say the man went to a bank in Sandy about a half-hour before robbing Zions Bank in Murray on Friday where better photos were taken.

New photos were also released Wednesday from the Sandy incident where the man accused of also robbing the Zions bank was required to take his sunglasses and mask off and then left the bank without further incident, police said. Police initially said the man was accused of robbing the Sandy bank but later clarified he left without robbing the branch after being asked to show his face.

The man is described as in his 40s, clean-shaven with a faded tattoo on the right side of his eye. He drives an older model silver or gold Ford Fusion with no license plates, police said.

Anyone with information on the man in the photos is asked to call 801-264-2688 and reference case number 20C015336.
