COEUR D`ALENE, Idaho (AP) _ Hecla Mining Co. (HL) on Thursday reported a loss of $14 million in its second quarter.
The Coeur d`Alene, Idaho-based company said it had a loss of 3 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 1 cent per share.
The precious metals company posted revenue of $166.4 million in the period.
Hecla Mining shares have climbed 89% since the beginning of the year. The stock has more than tripled in the last 12 months.
