MADRID, Sep 18, 2006 (UPI via COMTEX) -- Thin is seemingly no longer "in" for Spanish fashion, as organizers for a top fashion show rejected five models for being too svelte, El Pais reported Monday.
The Pasarela Cibeles fashion show in Madrid last weekend said that it would not allow women below a body-mass index of 18 to strut down the runway.
Sixty-three of the models on hand passed the body-mass index test. The five that failed were at least 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighed less than 121.25 pounds.
